Once our customer care team has approved the return/refund, it can take from 1 to 4 days to arrive back to you bank account.
If you have not received any money after a week from having received a confirmation of your return/refund please contact us at hello@inakono.com.
- Shipping costs outside the EU
Free shipping applies only to destinations within the European Union. All orders shipped to countries outside the EU—including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States—incur standard shipping fees at checkout. - Customs duties & import fees
We cannot prepay or estimate customs duties, taxes, or other import fees on your behalf. Customers are fully responsible for any charges levied by their country’s customs authority. - Liability for unpaid duties
If a shipment is refused or returned because the recipient declines to pay the required duties or fees, we will refund the cost of any items we receive back—but shipping charges and any customs fees paid by Inakono will not be reimbursed.

Shipping
Our office and warehouse is located in Brussels, Belgium. We fill and dispatch your orders Monday to Friday. Once your order has been posted you will receive an email with a tracking code with your estimated delivery date.
Approximate delivery dates depends on location. Currently, orders placed to the following locations have the subsequent shipping time:
- Belgium/Benelux 2-3 days
- Spain/France/Germany 3-5 days
- Beyond 4 to 8 days
For orders placed within the EU which take longer than a full week to arrive please contact us and we will be happy to help!
We currently work with the following Carriers:
- Bpost for Belgium (only green delivery fleet in Belgium)
- DPD: UK, Germany, Netherlands and France
- UPS: For the rest of the world.
Depending on your region, whenever you unlock free shipping we will use the default shipping method for the region.
Once you order is placed, you will receive a tracking code from our shipping partner.

Sustainability
We never add single-use plastic to your order. All cushioning and sealing materials are compostable, recyclable, or made from recycled fibers. We strongly believe there is enough plastic in the world and we do not wish to add a single dime more
We’ve invested in a state-of-the-art, in-house machine that transforms surplus—and even our neighbors’—corrugated cardboard into premium cushioning material. This proprietary process not only diverts waste from landfills but also creates bespoke, protective padding for every shipment, perfectly aligning with our circular-economy ethos.
Our shipping boxes are sourced in Poland and are made from Recycled paper and FSC certified.
Whenever possible, we partner with small European workshops many of which are women-owned to foster stronger local economies and reduce transportation emissions.
We prioritize carriers offering carbon-offset programs or optimized route planning to minimize our overall shipping footprint.
Products
Inakono does not produce the products in our inventory. We source artisans and designers who handcraft their items and distribute these works on our website. We prioritise small producers as we believe that our craft(wo)men's work is outstanding. For information on individual items production please refer to the product page :)

Returns & Refunds
Refund Policy
At Inakono, we want you to love the items you bring into your home. If you're not completely satisfied, you have up to 31 days from the date of receipt to request a return.
To initiate a return, contact us at , and we’ll guide you through the process. The product must be returned in its original condition, with the original packaging and any accompanying documentation.
If you'd like, we can provide a return shipping label. The cost of this label will be deducted from your refund.
Please note:
- Refunds apply to the product(s) returned only; the original shipping cost is non-refundable.
- Returns should be sent to our logistics center at: Rue Heyvaert 191, 1080 Molenbeek Saint-Jean, Belgium.
- Once we receive the return and confirm its original condition through a quality inspection, we will process your refund for the eligible product(s).

At Inakono, we strive to ensure every package reaches you safely and intact. If an item does arrive broken, please:
- Photograph the damaged product (we recommend multiple angles).
- Email your photos to hello@inakono.com—including your order number in the subject line.
Once we receive and review your images, we’ll open a claim with the carrier. After validating the damage, you’ll have the choice of either:
- A replacement of the same item, or
- A full refund.
